Lazy August

It’s the August Civic Long Weekend. Back to work on Tuesday, after a month off. Still a few project I need to do before year end; weekends?

Bumped into Rolf Alberti at Stewart Farm; always enjoy chatting with him.

The day met my definition of ‘almost perfect’, weather-wise… sun, bit of cloud, cool breeze. Sat by the river for a bit, enjoyed watching the sun sparkle off the water and various water craft ‘float’ by.

Met 6-month old Emma the Beaglier and her owners (actually, Beaglier/Cavalier). Falkor really wanted to ‘say hi’ but Emma was really shy. We did eventually get them both to ‘sit pretty’. Emma has that perfect Cavalier spot on her head.
